small coloant leak

Post by BerettaMN »

I bought a 90 Beretta base 3.1 it has 114,000 on it so it hasn't been all hacked apart. I was looking it over more today and noticed what looks like a rotted heater hose asdsembly on the passenger side wheel well rotted and disconnected, I think they just ran new hose and bypassed it not sure. Anyways there is a rubber hose coming off the driverside firewall that was spliced together and has 2 hose clamps on it leaking a little. I would like to replace this and do it the right way and fix the leak. Does anyone know for sure what this is? Thanx

From what it sounds like, you need the new heater pipe. It's only available from GM (part number 10146978) It runs from around the front passenger side, down the frame rail and over on the firewall near the heater core.
