90 Indy car
I ran the vin, says it is a GT. So when I go get brake parts say I have a GT or the brakes the same across the board for these cars?

brakes are the same from 87-91 and then 92-96. Doesnt matter what trim level you have.

Re: 90 Indy car
Ok, thanks for the quick reply.
I assume a brake job is pretty straight frwrd on these? I know I will be doing rotor/calipers/pads, should I do bearings? How easy are those?
I assume the rear drums are simple wheel sylinders?

I wouldn't do bearings unless you feel play in them. They aren't bad to do. Remove axle nut, hammer axle out of bearing (keep nut on the end of the threads to protect threads), remove bolts holding bearing, and remove bearing. Installation is reverse of removal.
The rear drums are typical drums... wheel cylinders, shoes, springs, drums.

Re: 90 Indy car
I don't think I have any bearing issues. I don't hear/feel any type of bearing issues.
