Radiator on a 88 2.8 GT

Post by beretta_lemon »

Hey there, was wondering if this is even worth trying to fix or just replace....the upper hose on the driver side of my radiator has a leak that gets progressively worse as the system gains pressure. Can this be repaired or should I just replace it?

if it's just the hose, replace the hose. Easy fix. If it's the radiator, replace that bitch.

What he said. ^^^

If you're referring to the plastic neck the upper hose attaches to on the radiator, then just replace the radiator. I've yet to see ANY substance that will successfully patch a radiator in the long term....

If you take it in they are going to tell you they can't do anything with it because it's plastic. Not to mention if you find someone that can replace it, it's going to be just as much if not a lot more then a new one.
