What happened to BStuff?

I had been away from the L-Body community for a while and I missed what happened to Bstuff

What was it that brought it down?

Is there an archive?

(EDIT: If this a taboo subject just PM me what happened and remove this thread...)

Welcome back!
BStuff died a horrible and imminent death. It appears as the owner eventually gave up on it and let it die off. This is just my speculation, however. Everyone's over here now and getting better, me thinks.

Yeah, as I recall, the registration or server host expired and was not renewed. So it stayed down. There are no backups or archives, however there are spotty records online with that google tool that lets you pull up historical data/websites/etc. Doesn't always have everything but that's all I know of that you can retrieve. Sadly I can't remember the site name for it. LOL

Its like internetarchive, or something akin to that. Didn't much matter to me, I was mostly over here toward the end anyway. Been on both sites about the same amount of time!

The host kept flagging the account for malicious code, thats the last I heard from mike (webmaster over there, not mike pride)

I tried to pick it up in various ways a few times but no joy

I think it's better to have all the valuable info in one place.

I wonder if there was a way to get GM's stamp of approval. You know someone contacts Chevrolet asking about the Beretta and Chevrolet points them here.
