you need to splice the temp sensor, swap the upper intake manifold and egr. use your original egr and PCM,

Thanks for the reply, that's it? I take it I would need to remove all the 96 sensors and use my 95 sensors,is this correct. Also he gave me a new radiator new alternator, the radiator for a 96 is a different part number, but the alternator is the same.also what do you mean by splice the temp sensor? TIA.

On a 96 there is only one temp sensor on the thermostat thats a three wire, on a 96 its OBDII. On your 95 there is two sensors, one in the head and one on the thermostat... The head sensor registers to your dash. The 96 will not have that hole in the head, so really all you need to do is re-locate that sensor to the back block drain hole if you do not wish to splice anything.

As far as the other question, Yes it is best for you to just re-use all of your original sensors. You may end up with a MAF from the 96 and you will not re-use this sensor, or need it.

It runs super, only 2 problems,i need a oil pressure sending unit, mine broke,i J.B welded it but still no go.
coolant temp sending unit,I put it in the rear Drain like what was suggested.reads past H all the time, acted up like that with the old engine,so will need a new one.

will never do another FWD again,no room, for hands or tools,i have airtools, they are useless on this car.

I am glad to have it up and running again, only took 7 years.i paid 600.00 for the car.

FWD is so easy to work on... At least I find it extremely easy. And air tools are only good for lug nuts and subframes in my mind... Everything else on the motor and trans I do by hand. I've actually started doing the subframes by hand as well.
