ac not blowing cold

ac not blowing cold

I changed out the condenser and new refridgerant and a r134 adapter... when i turn on the ac i dont hear the clutch engage... should i buy a new compressor with the clutch?? i have checked for leaks and havent found any.. although the sstem is suppose 2 get r12, im using r134 and i have also put new gaskets and orings in 2... any suggestions?? thanks!

Yeah, not enough refrigerant pressure or your pressure switch/sensor is bad. That would be my first checks. I can't see the clutch going bad after that change.

Do you have a verified pressure on the low side though? Has to be above 30 PSI for the compressor to stay on.

Sounds like not enough refrigerant to me as well. Be sure you don't OVER fill it though either.
