ac not blowing cold
ac not blowing cold
I changed out the condenser and new refridgerant and a r134 adapter... when i turn on the ac i dont hear the clutch engage... should i buy a new compressor with the clutch?? i have checked for leaks and havent found any.. although the sstem is suppose 2 get r12, im using r134 and i have also put new gaskets and orings in 2... any suggestions?? thanks!
Re: ac not blowing cold
Yeah, not enough refrigerant pressure or your pressure switch/sensor is bad. That would be my first checks. I can't see the clutch going bad after that change.

Do you have a verified pressure on the low side though? Has to be above 30 PSI for the compressor to stay on.

Re: ac not blowing cold
Sounds like not enough refrigerant to me as well. Be sure you don't OVER fill it though either.
