UPS has insurance automatically for up to 100 dollars, if your purchase happens to be more than that, I will insure it appropriately.

I am interested in the shift cables (can never have to many of those amirite). The '94 have the same style ends as the '95 right? not to sure but if its all plastic on the ends with the o bushings then we're in business.

So I would take both the shifter and selector cables off your hands, just name your price. (assuming they are the ones). Thanks :D

Above is a pic of the tranny side of the shift cables. The shifter does go through the gears ok, or seems too, so the cables appear to work. I have yet to pull the console apart.

Expanded list of what I plan to keep:
Top windshield gasket.
Rear seam top rubber pieces.
Side markers (for LED conversions)
Pass rear tail light, maybe the driver side too. Neither are in great shape anyway, but will work for my LED stuff.
Front base lamps. Again for LED mockup work. They look to be in decent shape, would sell if someone needs them.
All of the door window trim including dew strips. Mirrors I don't really want.
May be a few other things, as I come across them.

187k on the clock.
Gas hinge seems to be bad. (hanging down)
Arm rest cover is trash. Rest of interior is there, minus a good cleaning needed...

Anyway, ask and I will see, if its worthwhile you are welcome to it Pics if requested, no problem.

No worries. Just got done using a pressure washer on it. Actually the headlights are in really nice shape, I was surprised. Front grill is nice, front bumper is really decent. Rear bumper isn't too bad. Red paint is still bright, surprisingly. Washed the engine bay too, but more to do.

I will be hitting it again with the washer, on the inside I think. Yikes. Driver's side door gasket (on the car body) has been missing for some time, and the top of the door is pulled out from the body. So water has been running in through the door for awhile. BUT despite that, the door panel looks good. Go figure.

More as I get through it. Headliner is nice, but needs cleaned, and has a bit of separation where the mirror light wire hung down on it. Much of the parts can be saved, just have to clean it up.

I'd like the shift plate and boot - providing the combo has the metal retaining ring on the bottom side still intact. Truth be told - that metal retaining ring is all I'm after... but it never hurts to have a spare 5 speed shift plate either. Never know when I'll be swapping one. ;)

There is a picture of the tranny end up there now. They appear to be ok, and seem to operate correctly.

Measurements of what exactly?

And as stated it is the Isuzu tranny.

If you can see the above pic of the tranny where the line is connected, it looks to be what you are after. If Robert passes, you can have them and the shifter. What I would like to know is do you need to console/boot and plate? If not, then I can save them for....

Let me know guys. I won't be able to try to pull the cables till sometime later this following week. And I have never pulled them before so may need some suggestions. lol

Thanks.

More updates.

I have connected a battery and tested the electrical sides of things. Engine definitely won't turn over, seems to be stuck. Yes I depressed the clutch, just get a hard click and it sounds like the starter grunts for a split second but no go. Missing 3 spark plugs too. lol Fuel pump runs though.
Blower motor works. Interior lights work, so if the module is good, I'm yanking that for my Z, as my interior lights will not come on unless I flip the dome switch.

Looks like the radio and speakers are good.
Lights seem to work, wipers work, etc.
Brights switch works.
I'm pulling the air vents and radio console cover, as most of my vents are all screwed up anyway.

Keep asking, I will keep going through it.

Looks a bit better on the outside. Also looks like the lower base trims are in nice shape, if anyone wants them. The one on the front bumper looks excellent, I think I only found one scuff on it that stood out. Headlights are definitely in decent shape, I can easily pull them.

More on the list of good:

Rear filler panel both upper and lower are in good shape, no cracks that I can see. Lower fiberglass filler is also intact. Both bumper covers are in decent/reusable shape. Decklid is decent. Lots of good parts really.

You want to know about a part? ASK!!!

As I said, the shifter seems to move through the gears fine, so it looks like the cables are good. How do I remove these properly? Which end first, and what needs done at the firewall? Do you need the shifter itself? Or do you want just the cables?

I'm talking the plastic plate that snaps into the console. Then the shift boot that is hopefully bolted to that plate via the metal retaining ring (the retaining ring deal is what I really want and need, but there is no need to separate because I'll buy all 3 pieces). Don't need the lighter well or trunk release button, but you can leave them in if you don't want to pull them, I don't care. I Don't need the shift arm or knob either.

Hope that helps. :)

Hmmmm Then I guess having the boot be loose already is not a good sign.

I will have to pull the console, see what it has. It will be Monday or Tuesday before I get that all apart in there, weather depending. There is no trunk release on this one. HA.

Thanks for the clarification.
