Re: BerettaFest 2012 Las Vegas, NV Proposal
Only thing that makes me a tad nervous is hotel accommodations. Vegas has a bit of a rep as far as the Strip is concerned. I don't want my car ripped off or vandalized while I'm there. Then I'd have to get angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry....
Is the track pretty awesome? I'd skip the Hoover Dam tour. The Shelby trip sounds badass though!
Nice proposal Ron. I was thinking of doing an Albuquerque one myself.

Same concerns I had, as well as the overwhelming quantity of tourists there and the heat levels... But as of right now its the only proposal.SuzukiGhostRider wrote:Only thing that makes me a tad nervous is hotel accommodations. Vegas has a bit of a rep as far as the Strip is concerned. I am currently doing the groundwork on another proposal. Hoping to have that up and posted later today. If I get a few responses from people I have been contacting.

I understand your concerns...and the hotel wouldn't be on the Strip. It is pointless to get a room on the Strip - one, they are too expensive and, two, there are much 'safer' places to stay. Also, we wouldn't be able to drink in the parking lot as we have done in years past...their security wouldn't allow it. I am still searching for a hotel that has plenty of parking, will be very well lit, and won't have a problem with us drinking/partying in the lot. And if they won't let us drink in the lot, at least have an outdoor pool that we can party around.3X00-Modified wrote:Same concerns I had, as well as the overwhelming quantity of tourists there and the heat levels... As far as the heat and tourists, once we get off the Strip, the tourists go away. And the heat really is different. Humidity levels during the summer typically are under 10% which makes the heat very bearable and actually somewhat comfortable.

Only if his gay Camaro event isn't the same weekend, or he doesn't have a truck to tear apart, or a house to work on, or.... lol
Eric, maybe you should change your wedding date to when BFest will be and just have the wedding in Vegas. A BFest first!
If it's in Vegas, I'll probably end up flying out; only because I don't want to take that much time off work to get there.
