Re: Aftermarket hood
Brett has one, he hates his at times too. Pain when it comes to taking it on and off, etc. His is pinned though.
Being made of fiberglass, they can be a pain to fit properly, but props if you get one and it works like you want.

Re: Aftermarket hood
Sorry man, but that hood is ugly as hell. Imagine all the tissue to blow those giant nostrils....

Re: Aftermarket hood
Ugly I agree but it doesnt look bad on that car posted. Im saving right now for the us body race lightweight pin on hood. How much of a hassle is it to pop the hood. Can u just prop it even thou its not bolted to the hinges?
Re: Aftermarket hood
Its pinned on, so there is no hood latch. There is nothing to stick the prop rod into. Its a lift off hood. You put it on the roof of the car when you take it off.

Re: Aftermarket hood
i had my holes cut out and it actually kept engine bay alot cooler but to each is their own and if im not mistaken 2nejunkie loves it since it keeps his turbo pretty cool also
Re: Aftermarket hood
The air turbulence under the hood must have been massive.
