s10 2.8L 5speed questions

OK so there is a 92 s10 5speed in a jy near me.and Wikipedia says they were either rwd or awd in that generation. Is that true? Could I have stumbled upon a gem of a trans?

There everywhere man. Its a t5 with likely a 2.2 bellhousing. It should fit our motors.

For 4 wheel drive there is a transfer case on the output shaft of the trans that makes it 4wd. As for AWD(full time 4wd) I have not come across a 5-speed one, that could be rare.

AWD is just like 4WD, just with a different transfer case.
