I'm glad that none of us needed this while we were there. It would have been pretty useless.

Anyone read the Car Craft/Hot Rod article a few months back when they tried to blow up the whambulance? they hooked like a 150 shot of nos up to the 7.3. lol I forget what it ran in the 1/4

most ambulances at lower end tracks are minimally furnished, the medics have their bags with them for the shift and only use the ambulance to transport in an emergency, better than a van because the lights and sirens work and they are tagged correctly

Will if you saw where this track was, then you wouldn't be defending it... I don't think I saw one medic with any sort of bag near him. That track was bad and I'm glad no one did get hurt while we were there.
I do agree with you though, they do not furnish the on sight Ambulance for the sheer fact that it may not be used for a long time so they keep the medical supplies with the medical people. I would much rather see them rent a local ambulance for the night like we do at Thompson, we have one on the track and one in the pits fully equipped with 4 medics in each on hand, and more all over the track.
The fire extinguisher on the other hand, that was just pathetic.

I wasnt really defending that particular one, just offering some insight as to why they are usually stripped down
