the clutch safety switch for a manual car is on the floor. It's a big button looking thing with a yellow and purple wire running into it, when you press the pedal down it pushes the button to complete the starting circuit. I bypassed mine, POS.

That clutch switch for a manual will do nothing for a auto start. There is no switch for a manual that will show its in neutral.
the auto one is on the trans itself.

I have an auto trans. Not a big deal the remote start will work without it. I will hook that wire up later when I have time to run it. Thanks for the info

Yeah its bolted to the case in a auto. typically still a yellow wire and a purple wire of heavy gauge, 12ga maybe.
