We came to CT expecting a dusting because the forecast wasn't very good at telling us it was going to be much worse. We came without bringing jackets or boots. Didn't know what we were in for until we got here. -_-

It actually hastn't been that bad. Most of the day was moderate rain, and when it switched to snow it took forever to stop melting on contact. It eventually looked like it stopped around 8pm, and last I checked there was a couple inches or so on the ground. It looks like we dodged most of it here, but I keep hearing other parts of CT and MA already got 15"+...? So I'm sure the drive home will give alot of nice snowy scenery (and hopefully clear roads).

Winter is disgusting. I've been threatening to move to southern California for a few years now and I think after one more Chicago winter I'm going to actually move. They predicted this is going to be one of the worst winters ever. Where the blank is global warming when you need it. lol

Yea its freakin crazy here. I almost crashed earlier with the Cobalt. Trees and branches were down everywhere. We got at least a foot if not more. I live near Allentown and the power was out in most of the surrounding areas. I was not expecting this much snow right before Halloween. I like snow but this was crazy! Is the end of the world really near???? lol

Got back home an hour ago and the worst looking portion of the drive home was a good portion of MA along 395(?) and I-90. Lots of trees down, and while they had all been cut back, most were still leaning up against the guard rail and a few were really close to being in the right lane. Roads were nice and clear, and congestion-free though.... unless you needed gas. Every travel plaza was packed all the way out to the ramp; every parking spot taken, cars lined up for gas all throughout the lot. We tried taking an actual exit instead (near springfield), and that was just as bad. It took us an hour to get up to the pumps, but at least it was 30 cents cheaper per gallon than home, lol. If I had more than half a tank when we headed home, I would have just waited on getting gas until we got into NY. Back home, all the (3" of) snow had already melted, lol.

Eh you suck Jon well on the amount of snow you got. We ended up with what looks like at least a foot of snow along with a nice power outage. Not what i had planned this weekend. Lost it at like 5pm abouts yesterday and still dont have it back
