ac delco rapidfire plugs

just a quick question... does these plugs come pre gapped or no.. because i had purchased a set earlier in the year and i honestly could have sworn that the box said to not gap them so i put them in the car as they came.. But i was looking at a newer box that i had purchased about a month or so ago as a spare spark plug and it said it must be gapped... Now as i have already explained my high idle problem both at start up and while driving, im sitting here thinking that this may be my problem thats been haggling me for months.. Is this a possibility or am i just wishful thinking that its something minor?
