parting out 1993 GT and 1995 beretta in Michigan

Post by hammsauto »

The GT has a bad engine and the 95 has a bad transmission but both still have a lot of good parts. Let me know if you want a price on shipping I accept paypal also.

Do either of them have a decent driver's side fender? I figure the GT won't it looks crunched on that side, but how's the one on the red base? (why do I always find red cars for parts? lol)

Anyway let me know if you can. What are these things worth to you to get them off the lot? And if the GT has the clear rear upper and lower fillers (the pieces between the taillights) I may want those as well.

I need to get 1200 for both cars to be worth it for me. check out the rust on the fender its just on the surface.

posts don't get deleted the forum times out if you take too long to compose a message, and IIRC that time limit is somewhere near 15 min... Will has to have the quick reply and compose sessions time out eventually other wise it will hog resources... Best bet is if you've been typing and composing a message for a while select your whole message and copy the contents before submitting it just to be safe

To clarify, only the state containing the item(s) for sale must be in the title. HOWEVER, we do then recommend that you then include your exact location in the posting.

96 years are the only ones that have those ducts.

Ok, found out today fender won't be needed. However, the filler pieces would be both the one on the deck lid and the one that has the word Beretta in it. You said 40 for both or just the one?

Problem is this. Taking those upper fillers off are very tough. PB blaster will help for sure, as well as taking time, tightening and loosing since the threads are usually rusted. 4 bolts hold that on. With the lower filler, the wrong amount of pressure taking the (possibly) rusted plastic cap nuts off may break off the plastic studs. Rather than risk breaking the plastic I just cut the cap nuts off with a pare of steel cutters.

However to get to those, you will have to pull the tail lights as well, to get the lower filler support removed (wiring runs through it) in order to remove the lower filler from the filler support. I don't have pictures handy here right now to show you, but it normally only takes 10-15 minutes to remove this stuff, maybe twice that if you never have before. A large majority of the lower stuff is removed by taking off fasteners inside the trunk.

Then its a matter of whether you are willing to ship them, or I have to come get them. lol I also have some friends nearby that can pick them up if you don't ship. I live in the UP in Michigan.

Let me know if you have questions, but definitely would like to get the fillers from you. Thanks.
