cracked engine block
Besides a new engine is there anything I can do for a cracked engine block?
Re: cracked engine block
What do you think?
You pretty much need a block, so may as well replace the engine.

Re: cracked engine block
There are some places that fix those kinds of issues, but not many. In the long run, it's better to replace it, even with a used engine.

Re: cracked engine block
heating the cast iron up and nickel weld. Requires a welding specialist and is only done to high dollar or rare blocks.
your junking the car or replacing the engine with a reman or used ending.
