the plug is a little different and our dimmer wire doesn't work the same way. Mine would never illuminate at night when the lights were on, but I never took the time to figure out what pin that cable had to go to exactly... I just guessed a few times, then just put my Alpine radio in since that cd player didn't eject a cd correctly.

I've seen this before, and asked him a while back in a different thread but he never replied. Looks like it fits pretty well. Thanks for that info 3X00.
90GTZHO if your seeing this can you please confirm the car it came out of, and whats all involved in putting it in, and having it work properly? I'd really appreciate it, because I'm really sick of my alpine, and I love the simplicity of factory radios/CD players.

I'm not seeing that. Maybe I'm blind, or you have to be a member on that site to see that information? I don't know, oh well.Quad4Z26 wrote:It states in his Motortopia description....

Yup, its mine! Sorry took so long to respond. It was out my old 99 Lumina LTZ. I had to bend the brackets on the side to make it fit. It was just a push in fit. And yes, it was a direct plug and play on my car, didnt have to change anything. If you have the 91-96 style radio, you have to change the wires on the connector to make the dinner work.

no no no. all the harnesses plug in and play. If you have the 87-90 it plugs right in and everything works perfectly. 91-96 you have to change two wires to make the lights work at night. During the day, everything works like normal.
