Filler panel taillights?
Filler panel taillights?
Just an idea, but has anyone ever put lights (led..ect) in the filler panels?
Like, just an example, but having the bottom one tied in with the tail lights and tying the top one in with the third brake light? Or just tying them in with the taillights so they illuminate with the headlights and illuminate with the brakelights?

I haven't seen anyone do that, but I think I know someone that's working on that...
It would be pretty sweet to have the entire backend lit up all the way across.

Lets see it ace! I've always wondered how it'd look. I know your using clears for it, but I'd use tinted ones! It doesn't really have to be that bright, just has to light up!

i wanted to do something with my filler like put L.e.d's in it and spell something hooked to a switch.. like BACK OFF or something random, or BERETTA.
Re: Filler panel taillights?
Tinted ones? You would have to use the clear ones and tint them then. The later versions were solid black plastic, not clear or tinted.

If you didn't know that ace is working on this, you're not paying attention! His car is going to be an LED explosion at BFest this year.

Hmm, my bad. I never actually took one off to find that out. What you said would work though I guess. I just prefer the look of the darker fillers.DTMAce wrote:Tinted ones? You would have to use the clear ones and tint them then. The later versions were solid black plastic, not clear or tinted.

I've wanted to do this ever since my friend lit up his Aurora's filler panel, but I never had the patience lol. I recently saw the new Chargers and wanted to do it again, but I think I'll leave it to Chris, lol!
