J/Y run

Post by #1 stunna »

Went on a junk yard run today and came back empty handed... :x They only had two crappy stripped base models , Just as i was leaving a red z26 pulls up next to me with a for sale sign on it. It was pretty busted with major side collision damage- the guy said he just put a used 3100 with 70k in it and was asking 1600 firm -- I told him id give him 500 ... he was offended :o . So i just laughed and drove away

Went to a different j/y this morning. Not one beretta in the whole yard..  and this place is huge--but i did find a TGP (no motor/trans) but the rest of it was intact. Any parts worth grabbing off it? Or anyone need something off it?

Your junkyards don't let you view inventory online first? I have many out here that do. Although I prefer to just go and walk the yard for the activity and to get out of the house.

Maroon? Looks more like something red bled through. See gray arm rest(also gray lower seat). Or that is the worst sun fade I've ever seen.

Nope ... if it did , I would of snatched it up quick. I tore out most of the under- dash looking for the ECM only to find some type of stero amp module , guess they put the ecm in the engine compartment

Yup! It's under the coolant overflow tank on the passenger side front corner of the engine bay.
