Fan Shroud?

Post by Koots »

I noticed that my 2.2L Corsica doesn't have a fan shroud, but it doesn't look like there ever was one.

Is this normal? Any real benefit to upgrading the fan and making my own shroud?

You got it right, there never was one.
Yes you could make your own and get a little better cooling. Really the stock system should be more than enough for a 2.2L. Yours is the same as a V6.

Well then, no need to modify LOL

I'm just overthinking everything, I've already got an auxiliary trans cooler hooked up :D

You can grab a fan from a '94 or newer car. They push more air and drop right in with a little modding of the lower "feet". I've got one in my car.
