Tell him to get rid of that junk air cleaner. The only thing that does is filter out rocks.
I'm sure he could find a good drop base and put a K&N on.

well for 1 just installed my 93 cavalier verts 3.1 in it and the dash wont light up i have no idea i thought rettas were the same as cavs

ok are all of the fusible links suppose to to one side of the starter or what cuz my cav has all links to one side and the
retta has a 2 fusible link wires and it has a small opening like for the small screw and the others have bigger side

also have issues with the fan it would start up late but i think it was the relay sensors were new thermo new so i am really not worried about this till i get the dash lights working

but were is the fan relay on these cars

the turn signal is most likely the flasher. it was on mine anyway. i have a 94 and it was located under the dash behind the steering wheel.

you damn near have to stand on your head to get to it though.

which side is the interior leak on?

Check your turn signal bulbs. Just one bad bulb can make the light on the dash go faster.

I got brand new GM door seals and what your are calling sweeps.I don't know the part numbers off the top of my head. If needed I can look them up. Some GM sites have a place to look them up with a diagram. I think the site I got them from was New GM Parts. That was a few years ago. I checked many sites and did alot of emails asking if they were in stock. Many list the parts, but none are in stock.

if you mean on the firewall around the rack then i had the same problem. i coated that area with plastidip, problem solved. popped the hood and used a large turkey baster to squirt some along that area starting as far down as possible and working up. that space was too cramped to use any spray or a brush so the baster worked well. i also put some around the drain flap under the cowl. it appeared to be in bad shape so i figured why not do it while i was there. it was clogged with the leaves. after that i pulled the carpet back on the driver side floor to let everything dry, cleaned with carpet cleaner, and called it a day. a seven dollar fix. check that whole cowl area for holes and bad areas.

any hardware should have it. it comes in a spray can and a dipping can. get the dipping can if you plan on doing it without removing any parts. theres no way to spray anything down there without taking off a few odds and ends to make room. most places sell black and maybe yellow but it comes in red and white as well.
