Re: open stock tips
What do you mean by open? There is hardly any restriction in the stock tips for a Z26.
Here are a bunch of dual exit tips

Re: open stock tips
Jon, I think you might be thinking of something else. The stock tips are very restrictive, as the OP stated the outlets are restricted down to a hole about 1" in size.
I've tried in the past to open them up, without any success. Perhaps a really good metal holesaw and some patience might do the trick though..

Re: open stock tips
Im still recuperating from the OP's grammar, holy crap thats hard to understand.
On topic, the best looking stock style tips, are the Borla Dual slash cut intercooled tips. They are fairly pricey, but the best looking for these cars IMO.

Re: open stock tips
Im sure you have gone some other route by now but you can blow out the centers with a cutting torch. I just walk the torch around the inside of the tip as a rough cut to blow the center out then notch the remaining press fit ring (you won't blow through the stainless) then drive it sideways with a hammer and punch. Then you can rip it out with a pliers.
Ive done 3 or 4 this way
