200 K
OK, I realize that many folks here have many many more miles than we do. However, after 23 years and 10 months after buying the car brand new, we've hit a milestone. Still original engine and tranny (knock on wood), still a daily driver.

Re: 200 K
Keep going. Let me know when you cross the 293k barrier. That is when my black base's engine decided to start knocking.
The Z is up to 237k now.
But congratulations! Another has made it to the 200k club!

Sweet! I'm at 275k but I wish I could say it was on the original engine. Naw I don't, I love having fun in my car =)! Trans is slowly dying though!

Go Mike! I need to get mine to the point where she can handle a beating again. I hate driving like a grandma all the time.
Re: 200 K
Only 136,000 mile on daily black car... and issues piling up, never going to hit 200k with this one.

4T60E, and impending failure....3X00-Modified wrote:It doesn't matter how often you change the fluid on a 4t60e, it doesn't harden the non hardened parts inside it to prevent them from failing, only replacing those will fix the impending failure.
You could make a country song out of that, right??
