stock style fiberglass fender group buy

I've been speaking with Rob at www.showcars-bodyparts.com about getting stock sized fiberglass replacement fenders made and have made some progress. They will make the fenders as long as there are at least 5 orders. The price per fender, (NOT PER SET) would be $299.00. If we can get 10 sets made the price would be $279.00 per fender.

Now I realize that this price is fairly steep, but considering that someone is actually willing to make parts for us I dont mind much. I also know that there are not a ton of benefits to having fiberglass fenders. Our stock fenders aren't all that heavy so the weight savings isn't much if anything, but one big advantage in my eyes is that fiberglass doesn't rust.

The company this is going thru is the same company that makes all the fiberglass beretta stock car pieces. I cannot personally speak to their quality as I haven't purchased anything from them but maybe another member here can?

Doesn't your car have like 70xxx miles???Mine is around 208xxx on the body and they have zero rust on them.Just saying it's your car so do as you will=)

Yup, but the drivers fender has a small crease towords the front. Whenever I replace something I always try to find something better to replace it with. But by comparison, my Z26 only has 126k and it is NOT doing quite so well in the rust department so it never hurts to try to stay ahead of the curve.
