Leaking somewhere...
I found a ton of water on my rubber floor mat in the passengers side. Is there anything else it could be other than the AC flap thing under the cowl? I have the metal plate for that opening to fix that leak problem...
I just would like to know if there would be any other cause of that water?

Re: Leaking somewhere...
passenger side is mostly the vent door... its a bitch to get it to seal properly.
What metal plate do you have thats supposed to fix the issue? Because mine was the seal of that box to the firewall itself. the seams will cause rust more so than water on the floor.
This is a picture of the passenger side seam.

these two seams inside would only leak into the engine compartment, they are not seams to inside the vehicle, so sealing these are mostly done to direct water to below the vent motor and drain out where that flap is at the bottom.

Is it just me, or does your tie rod exit have a bit pucker dent in the edge? LOL I don't recall that area looking quite like that.

Its just you... there is no "dent" in that area. That's how the metal is shaped.
