somethings gone haywire

This is my daughters explanation when the key is out of the ign she hears the chime chiming for the seatbelt ,check engine light flashing,gauges jumping and some type of hissing noise? Just joined beretta net today. recently bought a 1988 beretta and I am getting water on the rear floor boards.
