From what i have researched, the mounts may be the hardest part about this but still look very close to the 3t40 if not the same. I still need to do some research the speed sensor and the axles shouldn't be a problem. I am looking to do this to my 89 - i just haven't found the trans i want (holding out for the 4t60-HD from a TGP).

id say just swap in a 5spd trans... im sure you will love it, plus its easy to get the parts here from a donor 5spd beretta, i could manage that you could pick up all the parts for the swap.. you just need to get everything out of the car by yourself ;)
