Can't wait to meet up with you guys!
Saw a Pinto yesterday, a Suzuki Samurai, a 70's Firebird and a Datsun pickup all original looking and rust free.
Also saw an AWD Chevy Astro camper at the sand dunes

Re: Beretta migration begins
Went to Pikes Peak yesterday. The Z26 got altitude sickness but she made it to the summit!
On the way up...

Barely idling at the summit. A little over 14000 feet. I was trippin balls from the thin air but not really sick.

We also stopped at the Garden of the Gods on the way back.

Car is running a little better but still messed up. heading to the parts store this morning to try an air temp sensor. when I unplug mine there is no change. I did the same thing to the map and the car died immediately. We were running way rich at high altitude. For a while I could see a light plume of black smoke rolling off the trunklid. It basically was only interested in running at 0% throttle or WOT.
Aftermath...

Re: Beretta migration begins
Air temp sensor didn't help. I swapped map sensors with a used but good one and unplugged the batt. for 5 min. Same problem.
Any ideas? I either have to floor it on and off at stop lights with the car trying to lurch forward or it will die. Sometimes I have a little partial throttle and sometimes not. But if I floor it it cleans right out and makes full power

It sounds like a MAP issue but you've already tried that.

Re: Beretta migration begins
And now for the rest of the story
Well Bfest is over and we just got home but I was going to put up some more pics so here we are...
Some of the group at Clock Tower Grill
Geoff and John doing some cv repairs on location. Manager came out, cracked a joke and kept on walking. This was just before John put a code reader on my crapsandwich and found my shorted O2 sensor. And they went out and picked one up and rented a socket kit for me. Thanks again guys.

Re: Beretta migration begins
Ya our first 3 nights were in Colorado Springs where we tried to do as much sight seeing as we could. We wanted to see some of the falls too but the car was ill at the time.
The best I got on this trip was 31.3mpg I think. We put just over 2700 miles on the car. 2 oil changes in 2 weeks.
I have more pics on my photobucket account. If anyone wants to see them click on a pic and it should take you straight to my Bfest album.
