Yep! You can't tell we did any modification to the underside of the radiator support for the most part. Charles welded in a flanged nut on the inside so the cooling fan mounts like factory. Worked out perfect. I will have more pics of that up soon.

How did I misunderstand where you are coming from? You say I keep posting "videos" of it when I have only posted 1 video.. the same one in the Beretta Owners group on FB and here (was here)..

You said your opinion on FB (which I respect and understand) but then you had to come here and say all that. I have nothing against you but .. did you build the motor? Did you put all the time into the car? Did you pay for everything to get the car where it is now? Damn man all the car did was go back and forth in the alley.

I have the upmost respect for you bud, I have nothing against you. Just saying.

You know what? I started typing out this whole big response here and realized 1. it isn't my business and 2. I was cluttering-up the thread, so instead, let me say: Sometimes you just gotta test the progress of a build before it is 100% complete -just don't start and run it before you put oil in the engine!

Nice work on the upper core support -I went a different route on mine because I wanted my modifications to be removable, but you came up with a good way of solving what becomes a weak-link problem for a lot of us swappers, and much better than just chopping and grafting a huge block of industrial steel in place. :pardon: It might be overkill, but better that than under-built IMO...

Take that splitter off if they are going to tow it - that will probably get ripped off by the wrecker...

The front lip is fine. I know the guy that drives the tow truck so everything went smooth.

Here are some pics... They are going to call me when its done and I might drive it home not sure.. It cost 40 bucks to get it towed there so I would like to drive it home to save me another 40 bucks

I guess all I'm trying to say is the fact that I don't like to say I did the tune on it right now because the videos you are posting are generating many questions like why is it hesitating, why did it stall 100 times why does it sound like its running funny.... stuff like that. Maybe it's a personal preference but I tend to not post video's of a project when I'm still trying to iron out the details. By no means do I disagree with proving concept before your completely done with a project but I just don't see it as beneficial to run an engine when all the critical electronics are not in place yet. I guess I'm just trying to prevent any negative feedback for the individuals working on your car as well as the reputation I have for being able to tune something... having the above videos posted are how rumors start and creditability of workmanship is lost. MAINLY because people don't take into account the conditions or ignore them completely and just make assumptions.

Also I think anyone who was a selling individual could be ashamed at some point if the buyer (or installer) improperly uses what they sold them and it makes the quality of their work look bad. So to clarify, the embarrassment is coming from the fact that I know the tune should run the car better but the conditions that were presented for the engine when it was run and videoed makes the tuner look like they didn't know what they were doing OR you didn't have it tuned.

Once again I'm not bashing the project or you... I simply do not agree with what Tyler has done to your car multiple times now.

and this attitude doesn't help the end of your statement...

Not to feed the troll...

But Jon has a point - if you are running your car without all the parts in it - you can trash the motor.

When I rebuilt my LS2/3 - I doubled up the size of the injectors from 28lb/hr to 60lb/hr - I had everything installed but the car ran like crap. The car dumped so much fuel into the motor after only a few minutes - I couldn't get it running again.

I then discovered I had installed the wrong year cam gear in the car - who knew 2005 had a one year only gear in it!?

I said screw it - had the car towed to the tuner - they got it tuned and I picked up a boat load of power.

The point of it is - you can pour so much fuel into the motor you can thin out the oil - and spin a bearing perhaps even F up the rings.

I changed my oil - and it stunk like gas.

Be safe and get everything running properly - you don't need to go buy yet another motor....

I drove it home.. it drove relatively well. It still needs alot of little issues worked out. I was surprised how quiet it is, sounds alot better in person than what my phone is catching in the video.

Seems it has a slight miss

Edit.. before it comes up.. I only live around 3/4 of a mile from the exhaust shop and I drove it super easy

Do you have the wrong sender for a light rather than a gauge?
