While at the junkyard looking at 3.1 stuff I have seen grey, black and blue...does the factory color of the valve colors mean anything?

Nothing but the bad/good taste of the previous owner.
They are aluminum, at least the front ones, and didn't come painted.
The rear were stamped steel for the most part.

should be either cast alluminum or die cast alluminum, not sure what they used, but i know its a cast!
the z26 is on the road!
