control arm bushing help?
I bought some bushings from Auto Parts Warehouse for my 95. I got GM#89000869(those look right) and 88912674(one box has two small bushings and the other has just one large bushing). If needed I can post some pics. I do have some used control arms to replace the ones on the car, but unless the bushing changes shape when pressed in then the 88912674's are wrong. The large bushing is one size larger than it needs to be. I do have some Moog rears so I know that it's not a rear.

There is two different sizes for the large vertical bushing, return yours and get the other size.
The two sizes are roughly 54mm and 60mm.

Thanks for the post man. It would the the horizontal bushings that are in question. Sorry should have said that. The vertical ones look right.

All parts store seem to confuse this. I don't think their books reflect the change for the 95's I had that issue when I went to replace mine, they gave me the older horizontal type.

I know they're in stock at AutoZone. The computer shows both kinds and lists by diameter...3X00-Modified wrote:All parts store seem to confuse this. I don't think their books reflect the change for the 95's I had that issue when I went to replace mine, they gave me the older horizontal type.
it should look like this...
Oh, and I think that style started in '94. The new rear suspension is what came in '95.

Yeah the 89000869 looks like that. Do you have a pic of the other bushing Cliff?
I find it odd that the bushings in my pics have the same part number. Something got screwed up. There is no way that they can be the same number.

Money Pit, going by the pics you posted, all the bushings they sold you are wrong!
But like I said, the "larger vertical bushing" with the "metal sleeve" around it comes in two different sizes!
The much "smaller vertical bushing" does not have a metal sleeve!

Here ya go!
Smaller Horizontal Bushing

Larger Vertical Bushing

Ok, now that I looked around a little more, the 2 small bushings you have are correct and work for ALL 87-96 Beretta's, but the larger ones you have are wrong, you will need the ones with the metal sleeve (94-96) and they only come in one size!
