Re: control arm bushing help?
The large bushing is too big and the small one looks too small. The rear is the right size.

Ill try to get this info on the homepage tomorrow, and yeah cliff you caught me, it was 94 when they changed that, and 95 for the rear.

I'm still talking with the company on this. Just need to know for sure that I have the right rear bushings. I know the fronts are the right ones.

Well there are multple different rear bushings, but those are only different by the rubber type, I'm assuming stiffer with the upgraded FE3 or FE7 suspension.

Re: control arm bushing help?
Thanks 3X00!
They want me to send both boxes back and I fail to see the point in sending back the box with two bushings(I can use them). This is just another mess I got myself into.
As a side note I'm thinking about FE3 now for spirngs. Thinking that FE7 may be too rough of a ride.

Re: control arm bushing help?
I don't think FE7 will be too rough... IIRC FE7 change was struts only? Weba I know you commented on that before but I can't remember if the springs differed too... You do have a W26 don't you? Are the FE7 and FE3 Springs different as well as the struts? I know FE1 to FE3 is a different spring.

Re: control arm bushing help?
FE7 springs are also WAY different, they have a higher spring rate and are about .5" lower and are what you would call the performance spring by comparison.
I have a set of complete FE7 strut assemblies from 90 GTZ as well as the FE7 direct acting sway bar with all brackets, links, and hardware if anyone is interested! Only 92k miles on the parts.

MPB theres your info for you.
I would prefer the .5" lower spring if I were you. I really don't think they are too agressive either.

Re: control arm bushing help?
I forgot to add, I also have the rear FE7 springs!!!
Update! I just sold the FE7 direct acting sway bar, but you could still swap to a regular 30mm FE3 front bar along with the FE7 springs and have a very nice riding and handing setup!
Add some KYB's and you're golden!

Re: control arm bushing help?
Well that does sound good. A little drop helps in the turns and looks better. I have the part numbers on a post it, just have to find it(lol). As for sways I was thinking Addco for the rear. For the front I'm unsure.
Thanks for the offer, but I would like to have new springs.
Man it's good to have the site back!

I don't think you'll ever find new FE7 springs and if you do they will be on Vintage parts and probably cost and arm and a leg.

Re: control arm bushing help?
If they were ACDelco #45H1066 those fit every year beretta in the front, or at least thats what rock auto sells for say a 95 base if you look it up too (I searched a 90 GTZ to get that number). I really don't think those are genuine GM FE7 springs. Just like if you buy new struts for the FE7 suspension... Nothing out there is the same as GM made it. Even Monroe struts aren't valved properly, they have the tab for the bar but thats about it.
Re: control arm bushing help?
Damn! Did I order the wrong ones for the front then?
Here is what my VIN brings up on the AC Delco site:

Part Number: 45H1066
Product Notes:
[Professional Grade Coil Spring]; Front ; MTaxle ; GTZ
Per Vehicle: 1; Years: 1990-1990

Re: control arm bushing help?
Yes, an arm and a leg I know. I don't want any of the aftermarket springs. I even had Moogs on my 90GT and they sucked. Eibachs on the Cav and I don't like the ride(sure you remember that).
