Oops, my bad, I thought you meant under the hood, I falling asleep while on here last night. Hose clamps work too, lol I might have and extra M-shaped clip here somewhere, I usually keep them when i pull shift cables at the yard. If yours is broken or worn let me know. I know that spring metal can lose tension over time and doesn't take lightly to bending back into shape...

Wasted money on an alignment yesterday. My beer can alignment was already within spec. They adjusted my toe 1/32" and camber by .1 and .2* is all. haha

Muncie FAIL. Broke the 5spd on my third pass at LVD today...so it's done for the year. I won't know for sure until I pull the trans...but I think it's stuck in 3rd and 4th gears.

Ran 14.56@94.8 first run with an easy launch. Second run I launched a little higher with a 2.21 60' and a 14.46@@92.3 with 4th gear problems. Last run it went 19.47@42.3 limping it off the track. The place was packed so I didnt get as many runs as I wanted, but I liked the clutch. The new braided slave line make it much better to beat on. The MPH was a little lower than I expected, but my 60's were getting better...and it probably would have done a 14.2 without trans trouble.

100% positive it's not the cable. I tried changing gears on the shift arms on the trans and it will "shift" to 3-4 but no others. And when you try to take off in whatever gear(s) it's stuck in, it's bound up tight. The only way to move it is with the clutch disengaged.

I'm wondering if I bent a shift fork or something.

I already talked to Barry about buying his 5spd. I can either go internal slave with his equipment or convert it to external with my bellhousing. I'm gonna rebuild it and install my LSD anyway...

Didn't you have or end up with a bent set of forks the last time? Or was that someone else?

Clutch fork, yes...due to my own stupidity.

This is probably a shift fork. Cause unknown.
