Does one specific direction cause it to blow ?
If yes, bad wiring (grounding out) between the switch and bulbs somewhere. If no, it could be a bad switch, flasher relay, or wiring somewhere inline between the fuse panel to the signal switch.

dont think so. i replaced the fuse at wally world in the parking lot. about 2 or 3miles later they stopped working all together. signals and hazards quit. i stopped for gas and changed it again and it was still working when i pulled in my driveway. only about a football field and a half away from the store though.

update.

got in the car this morning and fuse was blown. i changed it again and in the process noticed that the 25 below it (#10 windshield wiper) was partially out. my son did "help" me yesterday and may have pulled that one out a little. could that one being seated incorrectly cause the turn signal fuse to pop?

only other thing i can think of is i pulled the tail lights do some painting prep on sunday. i didnt drive it all until yesterday when i noticed they didnt work.

I bet you pinched a wire in the harness on the tails; the wire is probably pinched between the mounts for the tail lights and the body.

i did a little inspecting and the tail lights were ok. but the turn signal bulb on the driver side quarter panel wasnt seated properly and had a piece of dirt in the socket. may have been the problem. signals are still working thus far and i am going to do some driving today to check it out

Start with bulbs, is every flashing light working? If so, my next step would be to replace the flasher relay. If that's not the culprit, then you're back to wire chasing, or you could possibly have a bad turn signal switch.

In other words, start with the cheap fixes first and then slowly work your way into the poorhouse! lol

hows this for a possible culprit? checked the passenger side taillights. i pulled all the lights to check the bulbs. i got to this one and it basically fell out leaving the metal part of the bulb in the socket. one of the filaments was severed and the bulb was freely spinning in contact. i had to pull the metal part out with needle nose pliers

now i have no brake lights on the passenger side which should be a no brainer at the AZ.

problem solved??
