Sorry Ron my bad :( Yes, credit goes out to Ron for finding me a better condition arm rest, and a shift knob thats not turning white at the base. I feel bad man, i kinda just summarized the whole deal, so much to type otherwise lol.

But along with the parts Ron found me, Brett got me a working intact shift plate that should be here thursday, along with my center caps for the wheels. Maybe this Friday i can also get the Euro fender trims installed. I do also have to get another 3rd brake light, as my LED conversion i was attempting ended in failure when i discovered i wired them backwards by accident and blew out 4 of them. So ima grab another and get that done as well. Make sure i hook them up in series this time instead of parallel without a resistor lol Been a while since i messed with LEDs. I might even buy two large LEDs from Radio Shack and just do that instead of a bunch of smaller ones...hmm decisions decisions.

Kurt i didnt know you had a Lumina? Got some pics? And yeah, i love the Cutty Super verts :D

Mine's a 99 LTZ, 3800 series II. We bought it for a steal several years ago with 160k on it. It had some Pontiac wheels on it and needed a tune-up, for $1200 I was a happy camper.

I've put a set of Monte Carlo Z34 wheels on it, as well as the rear filler panel from a Monte Z34 to get the red bowtie. I've got a Monte Z34 red bowtie for the "grill area" on the way too. The Lumina LTZ came with chrome emblems, chrome bowties on the center caps and accents, which isn't necessarily my style. The red accents work a lot better.

it's got dual's too! cool. maybe you can get it de-tuned a little bit for even better mileage? (without hurting performance too much? i know you likely wouldnt go for the idea either way!)

i like the cutlass verts as well, they are pretty.

Yeah Kurt i used to have a 99 LTZ with the 3800S2. i loved that car, and hated the day i sold it. Was a good car and on average got 23 in town and like 31 on the highway. Except mine has the same wheels i just put on the 93. Yeah, i hated the chrome too, but my car was maroon, so it was more fitting :)

Yeah the newer monte/impala wheels, would have required spacers and longer wheel studs unfortunately. These first gen W's have a 40mm offset while the later, 00+ have a 52mm offset.
