I don't know where you get that from. According to KBB my car is worth at least $2683. Thats in fair condition.
I'd say mines in good condition, so that would make it worth $3183.
I'd like to get a CF cowl hood, that would be sweet! I don't have that kind of money right now though.

Try that again... Unless it's your area; my 96 with 103k on it at Excellent for private party sale value comes up at 2,374... Dealer suggested retail is 3,099 but thats excellent only.

Ya your totally missing the point. Kelly Blue Book is not accurate on older cars. I just laugh when someone selling a 15year old car quotes the kbb value. Come on people take 15 min of your time do a little research and find out what a car like yours is actually going for in your area. Too many people treat that site like the holy grail. And if you modifying your car like we do then its entirely irrelevant anyways.
In my area my dd z26 is a $1200 car, a mint gtz is a $1500 car.

It may have something to do with the area I live in, but also my car is a Z26, with only 70k on it, so that has something to do with it.
3X00, your car in my area, just stock (which it obviously is not) books for $2344 private party in excellent condition.
My zip is 18504 if you wanna look for yourself. I also added the CD player option, along with alloy wheels and all the other stock options for a Z26 that aren't automatically selected. I really don't use KBB for car values, I like the NADA guides better, however they don't provide private party prices. NADA says my Z is worth $3075 clean retail, and the mileage adds $600 to the base price. That $3075 is with the $600 added. Didn't mean to start an argument about our car values, I just can't see one having a book price of only 600 bucks unless it's like an 88 base 4cyl with like 200+k on it, in poor condition. Then again, KBB won't give values for anything before 92.
Sorry for the off topic conversation.

I had a print out from when I bought my gtz in 03' but I must have lost it. It valued my car at $635 in mint condition which it was not. The interior was beat up. But I couldn't look it up now as they wont cover a car from 1990.
Here I just looked my 04' Tahoe up kbb value- $17500 My price- $13500. I got a good deal no doubt but its off by a quarter of the value!!

Ok im done now... Sorry for being off topic. :pardon:
