Nasty...I feel strange. What are you guys trying to pull here? I'm not into that kind of thing.
Share rooms? Damn you young people and your ways.
I need to buy a T bucket and hang out with those people.

looks pretty decent over all, a few of the usual culprits. check those rocker panels and make sure you cant easily poke your fingers through... look iffy up front. the rear subframe and well whole rear end look like every older gm i have owned... crusty. check for possibly weakness there.

yeah where are those chopped wires located? behind the cluster or radio? if behind the radio, no big deal, that's so common with a 10+ year old car... easy to sort out.

sounds like a boat! those MPFI always do when there's an issue/leak of any kind with the exhaust!

(MPB)just a couple questions one you don't have to answer if you don't want to but how old are you? And this one may be stupid but what's a T bucket? but we both use the laptop for the forum I went outside to check the car and he grabbed the laptop and signed in and didn't sign out so I thought I was signed in. And a bunch of people on here were talking bout sharing rooms because it would only be like 35 or so per person per day. Which is better than 150 or how ever much it was. And berettaboi rockers are amazingly clean on the car and the wires are under the steering column below the cluster. Its a mess. Rear shocks are going bad hope to switch to kyb gas adj. And as for the loudness I hate it our neighbor has to compete for who's louder so when I started her up yesterday he had to start up his truck and rev it a few times. I grew up around tractors not cars. So that's what I'm used to.

I hate upgrading because of the FE7 but i really have to its no good. The underbody is actually quite clean for being outside as long as it has. The worst part is the suspention and the interior but i think i fixed the leak. Im hoping i did.

the guy that i got the car from was the one that had the dealership and he hasn't had his license for 8 years. so he either has to do alot of paperwork or we will go file for lost title. just have a cop file a report for it. i have had the car for two and a half weeks and dont have the title no insurence dont want to put money into it til i have the title just for safety reasons so he cant come get the car when its all fixed. the DMV des not have any record of him even owning a dealership or having a license. so were just trying to find out whats going on.

well so long as he signed a copy of a receipt of sale of the car to you, you should be safe from him taking it back... just you may be assuming any liens or issues with the licencing if he doesnt put up and pay up

Your cluster problem is probably not from the wiring hackjob. Mine was doing the exact same thing and my wiring is in prestine shape. Best bet for that is to send it in.

As for the wiring, I'm not sure how well the chiltons manual covers the digi cluster but if it doesn't just look for the dealer service manual on ebay or craigslist for 88,89, or 90. The shop manual for my 88 is 3 books that together are roughly 4 times as thick as the chiltons/haynes book. I usually see them between $10-30 shipped to your door from dealers and shops that are cleaning house,

Hope this helps
