I've had no problems like that and I've been part of 2 3400/3T40 swaps.

It's the front motor mount bracket that needs to be custom...

I would hope you didn't have to do unnecessary mods for a 3400 swap. A 3400 swap doesn't require a aftermarket cps setup which would be a dead give away I was referring to a 3500. :wink:

The 3500 pass front motor mount will be different than a 3400 front pass motor mount. You would have to alter a 3400 motor mount too much to make it work for a 3500, it would be better to start with the right mount in the beginning.
