This is a tough one... I have no idea what they modified to make them euro to begin with, however I do know how to make a US car act with Euro tails.

Put your Euro lenses inside the US tails! ;) A few other members on here have done that. Then you won't have to do any wiring! Or are you trying to ditch the amber lens?

Sounds like he's trying to ditch the amber lens all together...

yeah, you are right. but there is a little difference between "original" euro:

and the "remake" of euro taillights:

I like the "remake" much better than the "original" euro tails

I'm sorry, I can't sell them, because every two years we have these controls in switzerland  I should better keep them.

I know there are adapters that hook into trailers to combine separate brake and turns to work in a single trailer light. That might work in this case.

Great! :burn: Do you mean something like "Tail light converter"?

Good call Rod... I just installed one of these on my wifes Impreza because her car has tails and blinkers so to get the single trailer light to work you needed this.

http://www.hiddenhitch.com/content/prod ... %20&part=0

You can install it and then it will run the car lights after you wire to it... and then you could in theory quickly uninstall it if you have to pass a special inspection with those euro lights.

And your diagram is actually wrong, the tiny corners you added to the tail part do not get brighter when the brakes are applied, they are only 194 running lights in that area so they are constant brightness.

Yeah that's what a "euro" addition to US lights would do...
