wiring us-taillights: schematic plan
wiring us-taillights: schematic plan
hello everybody
my beretta has euro-taillights. few days ago i bought us-taillights, because euro-taillights sucks. now, i'd like to rewire the bulbs of the new taillights, but in fact i'm not the master of electricity
has anybody a schematic plan how us-taillights are wired? or could draw one?
i appreciate your help!

This is a tough one... I have no idea what they modified to make them euro to begin with, however I do know how to make a US car act with Euro tails.
Re: wiring us-taillights: schematic plan
thanks for your answer. maybe you know someone in the forum who could help? is there no one who exchanged Euro tails with US tails?

Put your Euro lenses inside the US tails!
A few other members on here have done that. Then you won't have to do any wiring! Or are you trying to ditch the amber lens?

Re: wiring us-taillights: schematic plan
yeah, you are right. but there is a little difference between "original" euro:
I'm sorry, I can't sell them, because every two years we have these controls in switzerland
I should better keep them.
and the "remake" of euro taillights:
I like the "remake" much better than the "original" euro tailsI'm sorry, I can't sell them, because every two years we have these controls in switzerland

Re: wiring us-taillights: schematic plan
I know there are adapters that hook into trailers to combine separate brake and turns to work in a single trailer light. That might work in this case.
Re: wiring us-taillights: schematic plan
Great!
Do you mean something like "Tail light converter"?

Re: wiring us-taillights: schematic plan
Good call Rod... I just installed one of these on my wifes Impreza because her car has tails and blinkers so to get the single trailer light to work you needed this.
http://www.hiddenhitch.com/content/prod ... %20&part=0
You can install it and then it will run the car lights after you wire to it... and then you could in theory quickly uninstall it if you have to pass a special inspection with those euro lights.
And your diagram is actually wrong, the tiny corners you added to the tail part do not get brighter when the brakes are applied, they are only 194 running lights in that area so they are constant brightness.

Re: wiring us-taillights: schematic plan
Yeah that's what a "euro" addition to US lights would do...
